Hey People of the world,

I went to Dorset Lyme Regis in the summer holidays with my Mum, Dad, and my sister. We stayed in a little Cottage on a hill; our cottage was called Hove To. On the first day the weather was over-cast, so we went rock pooling and we found a lot of Crabs, Shrimps and many other types of fish. After that we had lunch and my sister and I went in the sea with our wet suits. The sea was a bit cold but if you stayed in for a lot longer you would get used to it. We also had fish and chips it was yummy.

On the second day we bought nets and we went Rock pooling and I found a big Crab and we put it in a bucket and they were spaces in the bucket and the crab wanted it own place to have. When we finished we put all the fish we found back in the sea. Then we had lunch and went Boogie boarding to the shore it was really cool. We played with a Missile which you would throw to someone else and keep on going; it was really fun. After that we all went back and had dinner and then my sister and I went to bed.

On the third day we went rock pooling it was really hard to see any because the weather was over cast. My sister and I still went in the sea; it was really cold.

On the fourth day we went to play mini golf. In the first hole I got a hole in one. It was really great at the end of the mini golf my sister and Dad came third I came second and my Mum came first. After the mini golf we had some chips on the front the beach. Then we got ready to go to the to the beach and played all sorts of fun games.

It was a really great day.

On the fifth day my Aunt and cousin came over and we all spent a day on the beach and played all sorts of games like bat and ball, catch and my sister and I made our own mini Olympics. We went in the sea and had a wonderful time. For dinner we had Fish and Chips; it was soooooo delicious.                                                                  

On the sixth day my mum dad my sister and I went Mackerel fishing on a boat called the E494. We used a Hand Line and a weight so that we could catch some fish. I caught 6 fish and my sister caught 4 fish.  Then we went back to the Harbour and had a photo with the fish that my sister and I caught. When we finished doing what we had to do we all had something to eat, went to the beach and then after that we had a divine Ice-Cream. 

On the last day we all went to another beach and we all found loads of fossils it was so amazing. After that we spent the rest of our time down at the beach and we all got some delicious Ice-Cream. then after we had packed we had to go home.

I love Lyme Regis and I would recommend it.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Review

Hey People,
I am doing this book Review on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
It is about this boy called Harry Potter and he has to live with his Aunt and Uncle because all of his other relatives and parents are dead. Harry has to spend the whole of the Summer Holidays with them. It is the fifth book in the series.
One day he went out, Dudley his cousin and friend were picking on him. Then suddenly Dementors appeared and started to attack them.  The only way to fight them off was to use Magic but students who are going into there fifth year of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are not allowed to use magic. So when he took Dudley back he got told of by his Uncle for hurting him although it was the Dementors.
Harry gets a letter that he used magic and has got sent to bed by his uncle.
The next day Dudley, Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia all went out to dinner and Harry was left alone when and four people came to take him away. They all went to a place called Number 12 Grimauld Place, he meets his friends and stays here until he goes back to Hogwarts. One day he had to go to the Ministry of magic to explain himself of what he had done. It went on for along time and he eventually got to go back and head of to school. When they head off to Hogwarts with Ron, Hermione, Ron's twin Brothers Fred and George and his sister Ginny he told them all about what he did in the Ministry.
They got to School the fifth years all had OWLS which are exams that you have to do when you are in the fifth year.When Harry went to bed one night he had this dream that Ron's dad was getting bitten by a snake, Harry was screaming and Ron was trying to wake him up. Harry had to go to the headmaster and explain the dream. This really did happen so all the Wesleys were Port Keyed to Number 12 to see him.

During an another OWL Harry falls asleep and has another dream, that his godfather Sirus is fighting against Vordmort. So when the exam finishes he rushes to help him with his friends. They go to the Department of Mystries, at row 97 they find a prophecy with Harry's name on it. Harry takes the prophecy and hears people speaking, when he turns around he sees Death Eaters who were trying to take the prophecy from him - a fight takes place. Four of Harry's friends are injuried helping him. Vortmort comes and fights Sirus, killing him and Harry is really upset.

Dumbledore and members of the Ministry come and sort everything out, including making Dumbledore the headmaster of Hogwarts again.

But Vordmort gets away and is still trying to kill Harry.

The Cable Cars

Hey People of the world
I went with my Nan,Grandad and my Sister to the Cable Cars over the  Thames.
We all got a bus down to the Dome. Then we waited in the queue for a bit so we could get our tickets and walked through the gates and went up a lift to go on to the cable Cars. It goes quite fast, but I still managed to take loads of photos. It was amazing, how high we were and the views were fabulous.
When we got to the end we got a train to Woolwich and then a bus to Bexleyheath. We stopped to have lunch in to Weatherspoons to have some thing to eat. Then we went back to our Nans house and went home.
I loved the Cable Cars and Iwant to go on them again.

Rollerfest

Hey Peeps
I went to Bluewater to the Rollerfest with some friends I took my Roller Blades.
I went really fast on my Blades an even went backwards and twice in a circle.
It was sooo cool I want to go again.

Hey people

I hope you are having a gr8 holiday because I am.
Durng the holiday I made a hedgehog house in B&Q
We sand paper to smooth all the rough wood edges,then used a hammer the nails in. The next day I painted mine and put it in the  garden.
Now I am waiting to see if there is any hedgehogs in the house. I will let you know if there is.

Review of Brave

                                                      


The other day I went to see the movie Brave. It's about this princess called Merida who lives in Scotland with her mum, dad and three brothers - Hamish, Harris and Hubert - they are triplets.
Merida doesn't like being a Princess because she is always being told what to do and all she wants to do is play on her horse Angus.
Her mum, Queen Elinor, keeps trying to teach her to be a princess but she never really takes it in because she likes to be a Tom Boy.
The king and queen invite the three lords from nearby kingdoms with their sons to the castle. This is so one of the sons would win the contests and marry Merida.
Merida didn't want this to happen and rides off into the forest, so follows the wisps who lead her to an old hag (who is really a witch).
You need to go and watch the film to find out what happens to Merida, her mum and the naughty triplets....................


                                                     

Last weekend.....

Last weekend I went to Birmingham for my sister birthday.On the Sunday my mum,dad,sister and me went to the Sea Life Centre.

We looked at different types of fish and my sister and I even touched a starfish!!!

My family and me all looked around the Centre.

Did You Know that Turtles can hold there for 3 hours with

coming up.

 

While looking around the Centre my sister and I were doing a
trail, we had to answer some questions we got them all right.
After we finished looking around the centre we went to the Bull
Ring and had a look around and had something to eat. Then went
back to our Hotel, watched a bit of the football and then went to bed.

 

The next morning we said Happy Birthday to my sister and went down  to breakfast. Then we went back and got ready to head of to go to

Cadburys World, we lined up,got in and started our tour. Did you know, many years ago in the Aztec Jungle in central America,that 2 cocoa beans would get you a Pumpkin,10 cocoa beans a rabbit and 100 cocoa beans you a Slave. So cocoa beans were very valuable. Every

time you went into an scene you would get a piece of Chocolate - this was delicous.

Then we went in to the Bull Street scene and that is when you found out who made Cadbury chocolate so successful, it was John Cadbury and his two sons George and Richard. 

 

We went in many scenes and even got to taste melted Cadburys chocolate and in the Essence Area we got to choose sweets we would add to our own chocolate bar. I choose white chocolate buttons covered in milk chocolate. I hope Cadbury's make this into a real chocolate bar - it was yummy.

Hey Guys
I went to a football match against Leyton Orient VS Charlton Athletic that's who I support.
Charlton scored the first goal in the seconded half orient scored. It was a cup match so therefore there had to be no draws. After extra time it was still 1-1 then after another 15 minutes it was still 1-1. Then after another 15 minutes it was still 1-1. So then it went on to penalty's and Orient
won over penalty's 4-3 the Charlton fans were annoyed like I was.

Hey guys,

I went to Buckingham Palace with my Nan, Grandad, Aunt and my Sister.
We all went in the Diamonds and Jewels exhibition and we saw amazing gold Jewels on crowns and brooches. We looked through the whole of the palace it is MASSIVE. It has 78 bathrooms that is a lot for one family.The throne room has the initials of the Queen and her husband on them, the seats look comfy.

When we finished looking round we went to the cafe at the Palace, the adults had strawberries and scones. My sister and me had Strawberries and Cream and then a Chocolate Ice-cream - it  was YUMMY.

I am doing a book review on King Of The Cloud Forest by Michael Morpurgo.

It is about this boy called Ashely Anderson who lives in China with his Dad because Ashely's Mother died after he was born. Ashley's Dad was born in New England and had an ambition to travel to China and spread the word of God. Ashley's father ran away from home because he wanted to be a Missionary. When he was fifteen he was broad and six feet tall, the missionary company thought he looked twenty so let him join them.

By the time he was twenty he was creating his own missionary in the town Ping Ting Chow, with his own hands he built a Chapel and a Hospital Compound. Within a couple of years he became very successful. When he was in the city of Ping Ting Chow he saw a women who worked in the Hospital and for the minute he set eyes on her he had to speak to her and she became his wife and Ashley's mum.
The woman was with a man called Zong Sung. He became the person who made every thing work well. After Ashley was  born his mother only lived for another six months and then she died. Ashely's mother was becoming the guardian angel of the place. After a couple of years after his mother died Japan were invading China. People were getting injured and more people were coming into the Hospital so Ashley's father thought it would be best if Zong Sung now called Uncle Sung took Ashley to Tibet where Uncle Sung is from.


So the next day Ashley got his things ready even though he really didn't want to go. He said goodbye to his dad. So Uncle Sung and Ashley set off on a long journey, it was going to be so long that Ashley might grow out of the clothes he is wearing. As night fell Ashley and his Uncle slept, the next day they walked up a steep icy hill and they kept on slipping down the hill. Once they had climbed the hill they saw a farm house and in the house was a Mo who can predict things in the future. He told them that one day Ashley would be King of the Cloud Forest.

They continued their journey and found a house that Ashley could stay in while Uncle Sung tried to find some food. While he was on his own Yetis came to visit him and Ashley left the house and went with them to a cave. He stayed with them for a long time, got to know them and liked being with them. He couldn't speak there language but communicated by showing them things. They treated Ashley like a god, thinking that he can cure them from illnesses and diseases but all he really did was copy what his father and uncle had done in the hospital.

After a year of being with the yetis he wanted to find his Uncle, the monks found him, took him to Uncle Sung and they stayed in the building where the monks lived. Then in the morning they both travelled all the way to Tibet  and went to the boat station to go to England. 

So they got on to the boat that travelled to England which took along time. 

They got to Southampton where Ashley was going to live with his Grandma, Aunts and Uncle Sung so they went to the his Grandmas house and after a couple of days he had to go to school but boys kept on bulling him because of the clothes that his uncle made him wear. After a couple of weeks he became ill but eventully got better but as the doctor came in he wonderd what the corination tin was and looked through it and told Ashley that the man in the photo lives near here. So Ashley, Uncle Sung and his Grandma all went to the man's house and chatted with him and he showed him pictures of himself with the yeties.

I liked this book, which was really adventurous and I loved the way the Yetis played with Ashley.
